|
1 The candidate is of the female gender.
2 The candidate must be at least 19 years of age.
3 The candidate speaks English reasonably well.
4 The candidate is not employed in the pornography industry.
5 The candidate must have valid identification (passport
or drivers license) the day of the competition.
6 Applications may only be submitted by the participant
Contestants
1. Will conduct themselves properly at all times during
the competition.
2. Will conduct themselves properly during her stay
and at the hotel.
3. Will comply at all times with the rules and regulations
of Miss Pole Dance Canada.
4. Will attend the Organizer’s official functions
the day of the competition.
5. Will not accept private engagements during the period
of the contest.
6. Will sign a Release Form.
7. Will appear on television, radio, film or print media
for the publicity and promotion of the competition.
8. Will be provided with suitable hotel accommodations
for three days if coming from out of town. All other
incidental expenses such as room service, meals, telephone
calls, etc. will be for personal account of the candidate.
9. Will be provided transportation to and from the hotel
to The Caprice Nightclub.
10. Will be advised, assisted and supervised with respect
to her conduct and welfare for the duration of the competition.
11. Will receive her prizes immediately upon announcement
of the winners.
Winners (Miss Pole Dance Canada, 1st Runner Up and
2nd Runner Up)
1 Shall not at any time thereafter commercially exploit
her title in any way whatsoever.
2 Shall conduct herself with decorum during her reign
and shall NOT commit any immoral, illegal or any act
or behaviour which, in the sole opinion of the Organizer
could bring disrepute, ridicule or contempt to the Miss
Pole Dance Canada image and reputation.
3 Will not, appear in print or video pornography during
her reign.
4 Will have opportunities to travel to Europe and other
parts of the World for official functions and be involved
in shows, personal appearances, press conference and
other events arranged by the Host Organizer. During
such trips, she will be provided with free airfare,
hotel accommodations and meals.
5 Will not promote any other Pole Dance competitions
during her reign.
Photography and Videography
1 All photography and other footage remain the property
of the Organization.
The candidates have no right to compensation for photography
and other footage made before, during and after the
Miss Pole Dance Canada event.
2 The candidate explicitly and irrevocably agrees that
all footage and photography can be used by the Organization
for promotional, advertising and commercial purposes.
Grounds for Disqualification
1 For delegates and the winners of Miss Pole Dance
Canada, violation of any of the terms and conditions
of this Agreement will result in disqualification and
dethronement.
2 For delegates and the winners of Miss Pole Dance Canada,
determination by the Organizer that any of your representations
made in your Application Form, this agreement, and/or
any other information you supplied in connection with
the Pageant, prove to be false and/or inaccurate will
result in disqualification and dethronement.
Disqualification During the Competition
1 Contestants may not wear boots of any kind.
2 Acts of masturbation or other indecent behavior are
prohibited.
3 Contestants must have full bottoms at all times, no
g-strings.
4 It is forbidden to perform the show nude or partially
nude.
5 During the show, the candidate may not converse with
the audience.
6 It is forbidden to remove ANY items of clothing even
if there is clothing underneath.
7 The art of pole dancing is the center point. Focus
on fitness and presentation, not on sensuality. Any
sexual suggestion will not be tolerated.
8 There is no touching of the breasts, buttocks or crotch
area.
9 Any failure to abide by the above-mentioned rules
will result in immediate disqualification.
The Competition
1 The candidate may choose the music for her show.
2 A pole dance show has a maximum duration of 6 minutes
3 The candidate appears in eveningwear for the introductions.
4 During the introductions, the candidate will be interviewed
by the host and will have to respond to a number of
questions.
5 “Look, dress and act like a lady.”
6 An expert jury will judge the candidates on the basis
of presentation, clothing, response to questions, pole
dancing performance and technical difficulty.
7 Candidates may not communicate with members of the
judging before and/or during the competition.
8 The Organization reserves the right to expel a candidate
from participation, both before and during the competition.
9 The finalists will change back into eveningwear for
the final ceremony when the winners will be announced.
10 The finalists must be available for a photo shoot
immediately following the announcement of the official
winners.
11 The Organization expects the prizewinners to cooperate
with the promotion of the Miss Pole Dance Canada competition
and activities.
12 Dressing rooms are off limits to family members or
friends of the candidates.
The Title – Miss Pole Dance Canada 2007
1 The title “Miss Pole Dance Canada” is
an official title valid for one year.
2 As winner of “Miss Pole Dance Canada”,
you will represent Canada at Miss Pole Dance World.
You will be flown, all expenses paid, to Amsterdam to
compete in 2007
3 During their reigning year, the winner and the two
runners-up may not participate in or judge other competitions
without written permission from the Organization.
4 The Organization reserves the right to retract the
title if the winner causes any damages to the Organization.
5 In the case of retraction, the 1st runner-up becomes
the new Miss Pole Dance Canada.
6 Miss Pole Dance Canada agrees to be present for Miss
Pole Dance Canada 2008 to hand down her title.
Legal
1 Miss Pole Dance Canada is not liable for injury or
damage resulting from participation in the Miss Pole
Dance Canada Competition...
2 The Organization reserves the right to change the
rules contained herein.
3 All decisions not addressed in these regulations will
be made by the Organization.
4 A decision made by the Miss Pole Dance Canada Organization
is binding.
